“Why water your orchid with lemon water: the results will be quick to come?”
Orchid owners know well that a healthy orchid is recognized by its thick, well-nourished roots and firm, green, and stiff leaves. However, if your orchid’s leaves are drooping and lack turgidity, and the plant hasn’t flowered for a long time, you can try improving the situation with a simple but effective lemon trick.
Lemon is an antioxidant that also acts as a protective agent against insects, keeping them away. Furthermore, lemon contains a large amount of natural potassium and vitamin C, which nourish the orchid’s leaves, helping them regenerate and nourish the entire plant.
However, never use pure lemon juice! Avoid contact with the roots or growing tips of the leaves, as it can cause adverse effects (blackening of the leaves). As is well known, what is beneficial in small doses can become toxic in large doses.
For effective and safe orchid care, add 10 drops (!) of fresh lemon juice to 200 ml (about 1 glass) of clean, soft water at room temperature.
