Prepare the vegetables
Peel the carrots, parsnips and beetroot.
Cut them into regular sticks of similar size for even cooking.
Season
Put the sticks in a salad bowl.
Add the olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder if desired.
Mix well to coat each chip.
Oven cooking
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven if possible).
Arrange the chips on a baking sheet lined with baking paper without overlapping them.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Turn them over halfway through cooking for even cooking. They should be golden on the outside and tender in the middle.
