Homemade empanadas dough

When it has melted, remove it from the heat and transfer it to a container to heat.
Then add the flour and knead it with your hands until it forms a dough.
Then transfer it to the counter and knead until you get a homogeneous and soft dough. As much flour as necessary is also added until the desired consistency is reached.
We let it rest for about 30 minutes and preferably place it inside a plastic bag, thus preventing it from drying out.
After the resting time, cut it into small pieces forming balls about the size of a walnut.
The next step, we pass each ball in the flour, flatten it into a circular shape and roll it out with a rolling pin.

The idea is that they are neither too thin nor thick, so we sprinkle them with a little flour so that they stay dry.
Proceed in the same way until you finish with all the lids.
In this way they will be ready to fill with what we like best!
