Many of us know that tongue in vinaigrette is a popular dish for the end of year festivities. However, although it is a true classic for these dates, it can also be enjoyed all year round.
It is usually served as a starter but can also be enjoyed as a main dish, and can be accompanied by a side of Russian salad, mashed potatoes or whatever you like best.
It is really an easy recipe to make and full of flavor. Its basic ingredients are the following:

- 1 Beef tongue
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 cup of Vinegar
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp. Parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A couple of bay leaves
- Rosemary and thyme to taste
