How to make tongue in vinaigrette

Preparation, step by step

  1. First, heat enough water in a large saucepan with the herbs, i.e. add rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Then we add the tongue and let it cook for approximately 3 hours. You just need to be patient and allow it to cook for as long as it needs.
  3. Once the tongue is cooked properly, it is time to remove it from the pan and remove the skin. Then we let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Once it has cooled, we can begin to fillet the tongue.
  5. On the other hand, in a bowl we add parsley and the chopped garlic cloves, we also add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Next step, we add the oil, the cup of vinegar and mix.
  7. Finally, we will present the tongue in the vinaigrette on the serving dish. We place a layer of sliced ​​tongue and on top of this layer will go the liquid part, that is, the mixture of oil, vinegar and seasonings. We put it in the refrigerator and that’s it.

We now have this tender and tasty Tongue in Vinaigrette  ready to enjoy whenever we want!
