Apricot & Slivered Almond Tart – The Sun on a Plate 

Here’s a summer tart that’ll melt in your mouth! Between its crispy pastry, its golden, juicy apricots, and its toasted almond shards… it’s a concentrate of sweetness. Perfect served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it has everything it needs to become the star of your seasonal desserts!
Ingredients :
1 shortcrust pastry (homemade or ready-made)
8 to 10 ripe but firm apricots 
80 g of brown sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
2 tbsp almond powder
1 tbsp flour
40 g of flaked almonds
1 beaten egg (for the glaze) 
1 tbsp honey (optional)
