Refreshing smoothie with banana, lemon, ginger and turmeric

1 very ripe banana

1 cup almond milk (or other plant-based milk: oats, coconut, soy, etc.)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder or fresh

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

A few ice cubes for an even cooler texture (optional)

Quick preparation:

Peel the banana and cut it into pieces.

Add it to the blender together with the almond milk.

Add lemon juice, grated ginger, turmeric and, if desired, a little honey or maple syrup.

Add a few ice cubes to make an ice-cold smoothie.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
