Prepare the dough:

    • In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, soft butter, egg yolks, and sugar.
    • Gradually add flour and baking powder until you obtain a soft and uniform dough.

 

  • Cool the dough:
    • Wrap the dough in foil and place in the fridge for 20 minutes to harden.
    1. Shape the rolls:
        • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
        • Remove the dough from the refrigerator and shape into small rolls of your preferred size.
        • Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper
          • Bake:
            • Bake the buns for 20 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
          1. Decorate:
            • Once the buns have cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar to give them a sweet and elegant look.

          Tips

            • Cottage cheese:  If you prefer a softer consistency, sift the cottage cheese before adding it to the batter.
            • Butter:  Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easier mixing.
            • Personalization:  You can add raisins, chocolate chips or nuts to give your rolls a personalized touch.
          • Storage:  Store the rolls in an airtight container to keep them fresh for several days.
