Guidelines:
- Wash the apple, peel and cut into thin slices.
- In a bowl, beat the egg lightly.
- Add the flour, sugar (if using), salt, and cinnamon (if using) and mix well until you have a smooth dough.
- Add the apple slices to the dough and mix gently until evenly covered.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
- Pour the dough into the pan and shape into small pancakes. Make sure there is enough space between the pancakes so that they do not touch each other during cooking.
- Bake the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place the cooked pancakes on a plate and serve with sugar, cinnamon or additional syrup to taste.
