A man tries to talk to his wife
A man desperately wanted to talk to his wife and ask her something. The wife wasn’t home. He then reached for the phone and dialed a number to contact his wife. After a few seconds, someone answered. It was a little girl. The father asked him, “Hi honey, it’s my dad calling… Can you pass me mom?” At that moment, the girl did something he hadn’t expected. She told him, “I can’t, she’s upstairs in her room with Uncle David.”
Who is Uncle David?
A sudden silence fell between the man and the girl. In fact, there had never been an Uncle David in his family. He didn’t know anyone in his circle with that name. So the man wondered who this famous David was and why his wife was with him. Then the man said to the girl, “But my dear, you don’t have an Uncle David.” To which she replied, “Yes, yes, he’s in the room with Mom!” So the man came up with a way to find out if his wife was cheating on him. He explained to the girl what she had to do.

He said to the little girl, “Okay, okay, here’s what I want you to do: put down the phone, run upstairs, knock on the bedroom door, and yell to Mom and Uncle David that Dad’s car just pulled into the garage…” The girl agreed and went upstairs to call Mom and Uncle David. The man waited on the other end of the line, eager to find out what was going to happen. A few seconds later, the child returned. “I did what you told me, Dad,” she said. The man then asked him how his mother had reacted.
Morbid outcome
Then the girl confessed something shocking. She said, “Well, Mom started screaming, jumped out of bed naked, started running, slipped on the carpet, fell out the window, and now she’s dead.” The man on the other end of the line was shocked to learn that his wife had just committed suicide. He also asked the girl what Uncle David was doing. She replied, “Well, he jumped out of bed naked, started running, and then jumped out the back window into the pool… But he forgot that you drained the pool last weekend to clean it, and now he’s dead too…”
Sad reality
Another long silence fell between the girl and the man on the phone. Then the man suddenly said, “Pool? What pool? Is that 01.99.74.12.33?” So you understand that the man had the wrong phone number. Dear readers, did you find this joke funny?
