Preparing the Parsley
: Gently rinse the parsley under running water to remove any dirt or sand. Then dry it thoroughly with a paper towel or cotton cloth.
Trimming the ends
Trim the ends of the parsley stems to allow for better water absorption.
Storage in a bowl of water
: Pour about 2-3 cm of water into the bowl. Place the parsley in the bowl so that its stems are submerged in the water and the leaves are just above the surface.
Protecting the Leaves:
Cover the leaves loosely with plastic wrap or place the bowl in an airtight container. It’s important that the leaves have access to air but are not exposed to direct moisture.
