Grapes are eaten year-round | The process not everyone knows | It’s delicious!

Preparation steps:

Wash and Destem the Grapes: Start by thoroughly washing the grapes and removing the stems. You can use any type of grape, depending on your preference.

Prepare the jars: After washing them, dry the grapes with paper towels. Transfer the grapes to prepared jars, sterilized, and dried as needed.

Add sugar and water: Add a spoonful of sugar (about twenty grams) to each jar, then pour in room temperature water until the jars are full.

Cooking method: Seal the jars and place them upside down in a pot on the stove. Fill the pot halfway with water and heat over high heat until boiling. Once boiling, continue cooking over medium heat for another fifteen minutes. After this time, let the grapes soak in the hot water for several hours.

Drying the jars: Dry the jars with a clean cloth and place them upside down on a table. Let them sit overnight, for at least eight to ten hours.

Once this process is complete, your grape preserve is ready to enjoy whenever you want, until the next harvest.

This unique technique is a wonderful way to savor the flavor of grapes year-round. Enjoy your work and the delicious flavor of your homemade grape preserve!
