Doctor unveils the four ‘worst’ drinks for your heart and explains the reasons to avoid them.

“There’s nothing heart-healthy about it, and all those studies—most backed by the alcohol or wine industry—were likely flawed observational studies, showing an association with better outcomes but not causation,” he explained. “In simple terms: individuals who drank a glass of wine may have been more athletic or possessed some other unaccounted benefit.”

The doctor stated this is due to alcohol ‘raising blood pressure, triglycerides, atrial fibrillation, and—in higher amounts—is a direct toxin to the heart, to the extent we have a term in cardiology—alcohol cardiomyopathy.’

This heart condition arises specifically from chronic heavy alcohol consumption, which can be fatal.

“Alcohol is off-limits,” he stated in his TikTok video.
