Ingredients:
500 g of 00 flour
60 g of melted butter
180 ml of warm milk
3 egg yolks (at room temperature)
75 g of sugar
7 g of dry yeast
¼ teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Mix the milk with the sugar and yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Add the egg yolks, butter, salt, and flour. Mix until smooth.
Let it rise for 1–1.5 hours.
Roll out the dough, cut out discs and shape them into balls.
Let it rest for another 30 minutes.
Fry at 170°C or bake at 180°C for 10–12 minutes.
👉 Tip: Once cooled, fill them with jam and coat them in icing sugar.
🥖 Soft Sandwiches – light as clouds
Ingredients:
400 g of 00 flour
180 ml of warm milk
2 tablespoons of sugar
2¼ teaspoons dry yeast
½ teaspoon salt
60 g of melted butter
Preparation:
Mix the milk with the sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and butter. Knead until smooth.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Divide the dough, shape the buns and place them on a baking tray.
Let it rest for another 30 minutes.
Brush with egg and bake at 180°C for 18–20 minutes.
