Classic Deviled Eggs

1.Β Boil the Eggs:

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.

  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer forΒ 10–12 minutes.

  • Transfer eggs to ice water and let cool completely before peeling.

2.Β Prepare the Filling:

  • Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

  • Gently remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.

  • Mash yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar/lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3.Β Assemble the Deviled Eggs:

  • Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves.

  • Sprinkle lightly with paprika for color and flavor.
