Apple and cinnamon layer cake

Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cold and served:
Once cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the mold for a few minutes.
Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
Optional:
Sprinkle the top of the cake with more sugar to add sweetness and crunch.

Suggestions Serve this apple cinnamon pie in layers warm or at room temperature. It goes wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
