Procedure

Remove the rack and place it in a large container or baking dish.

Make a paste with baking soda and a little water (or vinegar).

Spread the paste on the grill and let it sit for at least 1–2 hours.
For stubborn stains, you can wrap the grill in a large bag with a small cup of ammonia and leave it closed overnight (be careful: do this in a well-ventilated area!). -
Scrub well with a sponge or scouring pad.

Rinse and dry: your grill will be clean and shiny again.
