What is the Schamroth Window Test?

How to perform the test:
Place the tips of your two index fingers together so that your fingernails are touching.

Look at the small space between the nails.

Normal result: A diamond-shaped gap should appear between the fingernails.

Abnormal result: If there is no gap, this may indicate finger clubbing, which can be a sign of a serious condition.

What causes finger clubbing?
