Clean and degrease the oven
Remove the racks from the oven and immerse them in a solution of water and vinegar. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes. Then spray the inside of the oven with a solution of two parts hot water and vinegar. Let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the grease to dissolve, then wipe with a sponge and finally with a damp cloth.
If the oven is very dirty, it is best to create a paste based on baking soda, vinegar and lemon, and use it to clean the internal surfaces, leaving it to act for at least 30 minutes.
Cleaning the dishwasher
The properties of vinegar are also very useful for cleaning the dishwasher: this product will eliminate bad smells and bacteria, and will thoroughly degrease the internal surfaces.
Place a glass full of vinegar in the top of the dishwasher, sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface, and run a full wash cycle.
