3. Hand soap
If the grease is very embedded, you can try to remove it with the hand soap trick. Place the pan or pot on the stove for a few seconds and then remove it.
Be very careful, pour some hand soap on the grease stains and then scrub vigorously with a steel sponge. This process must be repeated several times. If your pan is nonstick, replace the steel sponge with a regular sponge.
